Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the pastry and bakery teams, including pastry chefs, bakers, and pastry cooks.
- Develop and execute innovative and delectable dessert menus for all dining outlets.
- Ensure the highest standards of pastry quality, presentation, and taste.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards in pastry production.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source premium pastry ingredients.
- Manage pastry budgets, ingredient costs, and inventory control.
- Establish and enforce pastry policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Inspire a culture of excellence in pastry techniques and artistry.
- Train and develop the pastry team, fostering continuous skill enhancement.
- Oversee pastry operations during service hours, ensuring seamless execution.
- Create and adapt pastry recipes to cater to various dietary preferences.
- Stay updated on pastry trends, techniques, and emerging ingredients.
- Participate in special pastry events, promotions, and guest interactions.
- Collaborate with other culinary departments to create cohesive dining experiences.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to safeguard the health and safety of guests and colleagues, as well as contribute to environmental conservation.
